There is absolutely going to be a Social Links equivalent. I haven't completely fleshed out the mechanical side of it, but as was the case with P5's Confidants, each social link is going to have different benefits (though also like P5, the party member ones are going to be party-member-specific and thus really similar to each other, that's slightly less work).
